I'll be participating in the Extra-Life gaming marathon for charity again this year!
For those that don't know, Extra Life is an annual event where gamers from all over the world pledge to play games for 24 hours straight, accepting pledges as they do so, in order to raise money for children's hospitals in their area. They've raised over 4 million dollars since they first started running the event in 2008!
This year's event will be held on November 2nd, and will run a full 24 hours. I will be participating and accepting pledges between now and the conclusion of the event, hoping to top my earning's total from last year of $1,760. With your help, I know it's possible. I'll be live streaming the entire 24 hours (location & games list TBA soon) so you'll be able to watch my slow and inevitable decline into madness... all for the children.
I have also started up The BPD Army team again, for those of you who would like to participate. Which you totally should. Because honestly, what's better than getting to play videogames for 24 hours straight AND help out sick kids in the process?
So please check out the site, and consider either pledging your cash or your time to this great cause!
